If so, consider coming along with me for a week of RIDING and WRITING in the spectacular Icelandic countryside, in the height of the bright summer season, July 31 – August 4, 2023.

RIDING

We’ll spend 2 – 3 hours a day riding sturdy, sweet Icelandic horses on the dramatic beaches and expansive rolling hills of northern Iceland, led by our experienced guides from Saltvik.

WRITING

When we come back, we’ll have a delicious meal and spend time writing together.

There will be time for you to work on your own writing projects, participate in a writers’ sharing circle if you wish, and meet individually with me to discuss your work.

A Tour Designed for YOU!

For both the RIDING and the WRITING, I’ll tailor the experience to fit your needs and desires.

Once our small group is set, I will customize the tour based on riding skill level and interest, as well as what kinds of writing instruction and support each of you would like.

What’s Included

The Saltvik Comfort Tour includes domestic transportation from Reykjavik to Saltvik and back, accommodations at Saltvik Guesthouse (double or single rooms), all meals and daily 2-3 hour trail rides.

Optional sightseeing tours and additional trail rides can be arranged as add-ons. You can find more details about costs and arrangements on the application form.
