If so, consider coming along with me for a week of RIDING and WRITING in the spectacular Icelandic countryside, in the height of the bright summer season in June 2025.

RIDING

Every day we’ll ride out on sturdy, sweet Icelandic horses through the expansive rolling vistas of western Iceland, led by our experienced guides from Hestaland. There is also an indoor arena for lessons and practice as needed. 

WRITING

We’ll eat delicious meals together at the beautiful Hestaland Guesthouse and participate in thoughtful, open-hearted guided writing sessions. There will also be plenty of time for sharing and discussing your writing projects.

A Tour Designed for YOU!

For both the RIDING and the WRITING, I’ll tailor the experience to fit your needs and desires.

Once our small group is set, I will customize the tour based on riding skill level and interest, as well as what kinds of writing instruction and support each of you would like.

What’s Included?

Basically, everything!

From pick-up and return to the central bus station at Reykjavik, the tour includes comfortable accommodations at the Hestaland Guesthouse, all meals, all rides and riding instruction, writing instruction and individual coaching, and two excursions to the delicious nearby hot spring spa, Krauma.
