Purposeful Memoir as a Quest for a Thriving Future: Learning from our Ancestors

October 31, 2021 @ 1:00 pm 2:30 pm

On Halloween, the veils between the spirit realm and our present reality are said to grow more permeable. Join me on a thought-provoking quest into the past to connect with and reanimate the stories of your ancestors.

How were your ancestors’ lives similar to or different from your own life? What do they have to teach you? What of their values do you want to keep and pass on into the future, and what would you prefer to leave behind?

In a lively 90-minute live online workshop, make use of the techniques of purposeful memoir to communicate with the ancestral voices that live on inside your memory and imagination.

Whether you are already embarked on a memoir project, or just want to spend some productive time writing about your life in good company, this transformative series of workshop sessions will give you new insights and entry points into your life story.

Each session offers open-ended writing catalysts that will get you thinking more deeply about both the high points and the challenges of your life experience.

Optional sharing, using my time-tested protocol for positive, non-evaluative peer feedback, will offer opportunities for deep listening to self and others, as we honor the commonalities and differences among those in our circle.
