The New Moon offers us a monthly reminder of the potentiality of darkness as an invitation to inquire more deeply into our dreams, desires and goals.

It is the darkness of the seedbed, or the womb, a time to set intentions for the coming month, as well as to take stock of how last month’s intentions have progressed or perhaps been stymied.

Each month between now and the end of 2025, I will host a New Moon circle, inviting you to bring your imagination to a writing practice designed to open your heart as you inquire into ways you can brighten your own life, as well as the lives of those around you, human and more-than-human alike.

Our practice will be guided by the overarching goal of raising our own creative vibrations, knowing that as we do so we become beacons that attract and nourish others, in ripples of inspiration that make the world brighter.

On Friday,December 19, our theme will be Seeing in the Dark.

Settle in for an hour of inquiry and reflection in good company, shining our lights together in the darkest moment of the month.
